Once construction is complete, our commitment to residents extends to the careful restoration of affected areas.
Our restoration responsibility:
- Construction is responsible for ALL restoration work related to our activities
- Our contractors are prime for this work and complete all restoration activities
- Restoration is typically completed within the last 2 weeks of the construction process (weather dependent)
- All restoration work meets or exceeds municipal standards
- Each project undergoes a thorough inspection by the municipality before sign-off
Driveway & hardscape restoration:
- Temporary safety filling immediately after construction
- Final asphalt (HL-3) and interlock restoration follows construction
- All restored areas match or exceed original condition
Lawn restoration process:
- Our contractors handle all sod and seed restoration
- If damage occurs, we collaborate with licensed professionals to restore your property to its original condition
Seasonal Considerations
- Spring/early summer: Sod installation (preferred method when temperatures are moderate)
- Hot summer months: Topsoil and seed application (requires daily watering by homeowners)
- Late summer to fall: Sod installation (optimal conditions for root establishment)
- Winter months: Restoration postponed until favourable growing conditions in spring
Post sod installation:
- telMAX provides initial watering
- Homeowners are encouraged to keep sod adequately hydrated for up to a month
- Once established (lush and growing), treat it like the rest of your lawn
Temporary winter drops:
- In winter months when ground restoration isn't possible, temporary surface installations may be necessary
- Homeowner consent will be required for temporary solutions
- Full restoration will be completed when weather conditions permit
