Running a speed test with eero

Quickly check your network’s performance right from the eero app. Running a speed test helps ensure you’re getting the bandwidth you need for work, streaming, and smart home devices.

The eero app automatically runs a speed test every two days, but you can run one manually anytime.

To check your speed:

  1. Open the eero app and tap the Activity icon at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Speed to view your latest results.
  3. Tap Run Speed Test to run a fresh test — results for download and upload speeds will appear instantly.

With these insights, you’ll know if your connection is fast enough for streaming 4K video, video calls, and multi‑device use.

Tip: If your speeds aren’t what you expect, try relocating your router or contact telMAX support for troubleshooting.

Note: The results shown on the eero App test reflect the connection between your Gateway eero (Primary) and a speed test server, using your telMAX internet connection. This test does not necessarily reflect the WiFi speeds of your network or devices.
